My recent stay at Flixses Suites at Platinum KLCC in Kuala Lumpur was a mixed bag, reflecting both the perks and pitfalls of traveling as a digital nomad. On the upside, the spacious apartment offered a fully equipped kitchenette, allowing me to whip up meals effortlessly after a long day of work and exploration. The views from the rooftop pool are nothing short of spectacular, perfect for unwinding while soaking in the beauty of the city skyline. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by some unfortunate service issues. We faced delays in receiving towels and, while waiting, had to leave rubbish bags outside our door. To our dismay, this led to a 200 Malaysian Ringgit fine, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere that affected our overall enjoyment. Despite these challenges, the location is excellent, making it easy to access iconic sites like the Petronas Twin Towers and public transport. With comfortable furnishings, a flat-screen TV, and soundproof walls, the suite also proved to be a serene workspace during my visit.
